God save the nuts! Making healthy snacks easy: Smoked paprika cashews and spicy shouyu almonds
Sunday night, crime scene, the theme tune sets in ... The glass of white wine or the GinTonic in one hand, the other hand fishes automatically at the latest at the first murder after the Knabberkram. The human in itself likes to nibble. Unfortunately, there are not just empty carbohydrates and tons of saturated fat in chips, flips and co. Most of the time, they also contain flavors, flavor enhancers, soybeans, yeasts and condiments - things that just keep us going. We can not stop. Until the bag is empty.
Man, what good are we lucky enough to eat! Nuts are the ideal nibble alternative: they are crammed with vegetable protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber. In fact, they usually have a relatively high fat content and therefore not just a few calories. But we should not let that stop us from loving, honoring and nibbling on them. Because the fats are for the most part simple and polyunsaturated - just the "good fat". This is needed in our body for various important functions and metabolised with high energy expenditure. Nutritionists clap their hands on this healthy snack.
More and more fine manufacturers are turning to nosy and sophisticated mixtures and compositions. An exclusive pleasure that often has an equally exclusive price. The good news is that you can make your personal favorite mix in just a few minutes at home with very little effort. All you need are nuts and spices. The trick: Slightly beaten egg white ensures that the spice mixture adheres well. Go wild as you wish and try different combinations and flavors.
One tip: Slow carb enthusiasts are best off macadamia Nuts. These contain very little carbohydrates - look best on the pack.
